Leeds United Football Club
Leeds United Football Club provides any footy mad stags and hens with a great opportunity to take in some competitive football at their Elland Road ground whilst on their Leeds stag or hen weekend.
With Leeds being the largest city population served by just one football team in the top four English leagues there is no inter city rivalry to stop the mad keen local support of the Mighty Whites!
With Simon Grayson having taken over the managerial reins in late 2008 some well needed stability was brought to the club and eventually following play off heartbreak that season the club was promoted back to the Championship the following season where they play now. We certainly think it won’t be too long before they are back where they belong, playing at Elland Road in the Premier League of English football.
With guided stadium tours available every Friday and Sunday and Leeds United being one of very few clubs that run stadium tours on a Saturday matchday there are plenty of opportunities for absorbing the history of this great club and even if you don’t go on a tour Billy’s Bar is open every day to get some food and drink at the stadium.
Elland Road stadium is about 2 miles south of Leeds Railway station and is a 35 minute walk, a short bus or taxi ride away or is easily reachable by car should you decide to visit during your Leeds Stag or Hen Weekend.
