Victoria Quarter Shopping
The Victoria Quarter in Leeds is an upmarket shopping centre consisting of a number of arcades including the County Arcade, Cross Arcade, Queen Victoria Street and King Edward Street.
Housed in elegant Grade 2 listed buildings that were built in the 1900 and restored as recently as the nineties the interiors of the arcades contain a number of mosaics and plentiful use of marble to provide an unforgettable shopping environment.
Confidence in this unique shopping area despite difficult economic conditions remains high and this has resulted in 100% occupancy of its store space.
From the 1996 move of Harvey Nichols into the old Empire Theatre space in its first move to a location outside of the capital, to a parade of well known fashion brands introducing stores like Luis Vuitton, Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood and Reiss – upmarket stores aplenty mean stags and hens coming to the city looking for a VIP shopping experience will look no further!
With too many stores to name check here we suggest you head to the Victoria Quarter website to do some homework before you hit the city on your Leeds stag or hen party.
Be warned though you pay more for upmarket shopping so if you are on a budget head to one of the city centre’s many other shopping centres for your Leeds weekend away!
